We're back!

Hi everyone!

Sorry we haven't posted anything in a while. Our mommy has been really busy with school and work, and of course taking care of us. We recently moved to a new home and love it! We have a lot more space to play and really nice new neighbors.

L.E. was sick for a little while with Colitis, but is all better now. She has gained a little weight, and her new nickname is "pudgey". But no one really says it too loud! :) Riley is doing well. He has grown up a lot and has been a wonderful little brother to L.E. through everything.

Today we got to play with an old friend, and met a new one! We went to the beach and played with Lucy and Milo!!!!! For everyone who doesn't remember, Lucy is L.E.'s half sister and Milo is her new brother. We had a great time. Here are some pictures our mommy took of us and there is even one of us with her. Daddy was still at work when we went to today, but hopefully we can go again with him too!

I got to go to mommy's work! Mommy said that everyone at work wanted to meet me so she brought me one day. Everyone was SUPER nice to me. I loved being able to meet everyone that mommy works with and see what she does all day. Her worked looks pretty hard. I don't understand what all those numbers mean, I guess that's why mommy does it, not me. :)

Our mommy hasn't posted anything about us in a while, so we decided to act even cuter so she would take a new video of us and show it off. We decided to act silly one day before going to training class, so we started rolling around in the grass.

We gots some new white stuff in our yard today. Mommy reminded us that it's called snow. :) There was so much of it that it was hard to even walk through. L.E. didn't last too long before she got cold, but Riley had a blast. Here's a video and a couple pictures.

Happy Birthday L.E.!!!!

Our baby girl is now 2 years old! I can't believe how fast time has flown by. She was a little angel as a puppy and she is still angel as a young lady. Mommy loves you babygirl!

Our Christmas 2006

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We got so many presents we weren't sure what to do. All of our family was here including our uncle Alexander. Our mommy was so happy that everyone was able to come to our house this year. Thank goodness Riley left the tree alone just in time for Santa to leave all the presents under it. And boy was Santa good to us. We got so many toys mommy said that she was going to put some away for another time. We didn't really think that was fair, but once we saw all the new ones we completely forgot about all of our old toys. Well, almost!

Mommy also finally let us open our secret santa gifts. They were from Hula and Sisco, our friends at SDF. Boy, oh boy, did they send us a lot of toys. They also sent us super cute and comfy polos with our names on them. We can't wait until the weather gets a little better so mommy puts them on us more. She says it's a little too cold to wear them outside right now, but we wear them around the house often! Thank you so much Hula and Sisco!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

We can't wait to open all of our presents. Mommy says we get to open them on Monday. According to our holiday calendar we have one more to eat and then we get all our presents. Yay!!!

Our New Carseat

Yesterday the UPS man delivered a really big package for us. L.E. was so happy and thankful she ran after the UPS man to give him thank you kisses. When mommy got home from work she helped us open it and it was our new carseat. Mommy says that we don't have to ride in the uncomfortable backseat because we now can lay in our cozy new seat. She said that our grandmama and grami wanted us to ride in style in our new seat. And now we can finally see out the window too!

Getting Our Christmas Tree

Last weekend mommy and daddy took us to get our Christmas tree. L.E. knew what they were so she told Riley not to worry about it. She said that their would be presents under it that were for us!!!! After we drove forever we got to see our grandmama and grandpapa and Alexander!!! We were so excited. We haven't seen them in a long time and were so happy. Then mommy and daddy put our harness things on and we got to go look for our tree. Here are our pictures....

my turn, my turn!! now it's my turn to show my baby pictures. i remember the day i came home to my mommy and daddy. i woke up that morning and my breeder mommy told me that i was going to my forever home. i had to say goodbye to my puppy mommy, brothers and sisters. i was really sad, but after a long plane ride i got to meet my forever mommy and daddy. they were so excited to meet me. my daddy couldn't wait to get me out of my carrier. i got hugs and snuggles all the way home to my new house. when i got there i met my new sister l.e. i've loved her ever since. she is the best sister a pup could ask for!

i wanted to show everyone all the pictures my mommy took of me before my little brother came home. mommy spoiled me and always had that camera thing in my face. although i had a lot of fun alone with mommy, i like it alot better with riley here.

mommy got us these really cute costumes. l.e. was an angel and riley was a little monster. we don't mind wearing clothes at all because we know we get extra hugs and kisses for how cute we are. after a 30 minute photo shoot these are the pictures that we thought were best.

and daddy somehow got me to wear that stupid head thingy. i'm not sure why it was neccessary for me to wear it, but they sure tried to get it to stay on my head. it was so heavy i got tired just trying to keep it on. -- riley

then those little people kept coming to our door and knocking. of course we barked and barked because we didn't want anyone coming in and hurting our mommy and daddy. and those little people were scary too. they were dressed up in all kinds of weird clothes. mommy had to hold us because we really wanted to know why there were so many little scary people coming to the door and saying "trick or treat." what does that mean? it hasn't happened again since so we guess it's all ok. but we had a lot of fun dressing up and watching mommy and daddy cut up those big orange things. we think they call them "punkins?" can't wait till next time!

welcome to our blog. our names are l.e. and riley and we are both maltese/pekengese mixes that live with our mommy and daddy in california. our friend baily told his mama to convince our mommy to help us write these things called blogs. we don't know what that means, but we're happy that she did and excited to be able to tell all our friends and family what we've been up to!
